Abri is pleased to present its first solo exhibition, a showcase of new works by the acclaimed Australian artist George Raftopoulos.

The Sydney Morning Herald advises viewers of George Raftopoulos’s work to “expect big colors, bold ideas and a blast of energy from his vibrant, abstract works,” while The Australian Financial Review praises his “colourful and complex paintings.”  Mr. Raftopoulos’s art has exhibited around the world, taking center stage and entering the permanent collections at leading institutions in France, Australia, the UK, Shanghai, Hong Kong and the United States. His works have successfully sold through both Sotheby’s and Christie’s auction houses.

In his new paintings, Mr. Raftopoulos has mapped out a collision between ancient Greek mythology and his own narrative, filling circular shapes with relics of his personal history and building on a body of work that has long placed him among the elite international artists of his generation.

Abri is a creative artists agency that takes a vital new approach to representing New York’s foremost talent, offering everything from career planning to customized exhibitions on behalf of elite New York artists hailing from around the world.
